I'm a very happy user of Ashampoo Snap 4 (and other Ashampoo products). Snap 4 is great! The only problem I have with it is that the drop-down menu at the top of the screen pops up whenever the cursor goes to the top of the screen. So if I want to mo

It would be very helpful to have a key to disable the Snap 4 menu from popping up when you don't want it to. For example, moving the cursor to the top of the screen might reveal the menu, but holding CTRL when you do would keep the menu from appearing.

All that is a minor inconvenience compared to the powerful features and ease of use of Snap 4.

In Snap 3, you can Configure, Settings, General and there's a checkbox to disable the Capture Bar completely. Or is that not what you mean?

That's not exactly what I meant, I wanted a way to move the cursor to the edge of the screen without the Snap x menu popping up - but only when I wanted it not to pop up. For example, I could move the cursor to the top of the screen while holding the CTRL key, and the menu wouldn't pop up.

BUT - I checked what you said (I have Snap 4). It's possible to disable it altogether, but that's not what I'd wanted. However, when I opened the config dialogue, I got an idea. I used the config options to move the main Snap 4 pop-up menu to the right side of the screen (where I don't often move the cursor), and that solved my problem! Now there is no pop-up at the top of the screen until I've already captured a snapshot with the program (and then it's the image edit toolbar).

So your comment wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but it did solve the problem! Thanks!!
